GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday assigned goaltender Eddie Pasquale to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Grand Rapids drops the puck on its 2016-17 season on Friday at 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena against Chicago before traveling to Chicago and battling the Wolves on Saturday.
