GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In celebration of their 17 former players who are involved in the Stanley Cup Finals and their parent club’s quest for back-to-back championships, the Grand Rapids Griffins will host a watch party for Game 6 between the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins.

This free, public event will take place on Tuesday, June 9 at Celebration Cinema North, located at Knapp Street and the East Beltline. A pre-party will take place in the Wave Room at 7 p.m., followed by the 8 p.m. game telecast in theatre one, where 500 fans will experience the action on a 45-foot HD screen with digital sound. Theatre concession stands and the Wave Room’s cash bar will be open from 7-10 p.m., and Griffins staff will be on hand to give away prizes throughout the game.
