Griffins Sign Jamie Phillips to PTO

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday signed goaltender Jamie Phillips to a professional tryout. 

Phillips, a fifth-year pro, has seen action in 27 AHL games with the Manitoba Moose, showing an 8-11-3 record, a 2.84 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. At the ECHL level, the 33-year-old has totaled a 55-36-6 ledger with a 2.72 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 99 appearances.
