During this season with Drummondville, the 6-foot, 182-pound winger posted career highs with 84 points, 35 goals, 49 assists, 43 PIM, a plus-36 rating and 60 games played, and ranked as one of the league’s leaders in points (12th), goals (T17th) and assists (T10th). Teammates with center Joe Veleno, the 30th overall selection in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by Detroit, MacLeod placed third on Drummondville in points and goals and tied for third in assists, helping the Voltigeurs win the Central Division and finish with 107 points – their best result in 10 years.
