Scott Gorsline is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Griffins and DP Fox Sports & Entertainment on behalf of their parent company, DP Fox Ventures, LLC.
As executive vice president—family investments of DP Fox and COO of the Griffins, Gorsline negotiated the Griffins’ original affiliation agreement with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002 along with its four extensions in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. Gorsline serves as the team’s alternate governor to the AHL Board of Governors and oversees three community rinks on behalf of DP Fox: Griff’s IceHouse at Belknap Park, the Griffins’ practice facility; Griff’s IceHouse West in Holland; and Griff’s Georgetown in Georgetown Township. He was also responsible for the launch of the Grand Rapids Rise for the inaugural season of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) franchise in 2024. He also serves on the PVF board of directors.
Gorsline has operational oversight of various DP Fox-affiliated companies. He oversees operations at Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina, a resort development in The Bahamas. Gorsline also serves as COO of pamella roland, a New York-based design house run by designer/president Pamella DeVos. In addition, Gorsline has operational oversight over Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus, the premier retailer for outdoor enthusiasts in West Michigan, which opened its second location, Beyond of Ada, in August 2020. Gorsline is also a board member of the Griffins Youth Foundation.
Gorsline has been with DP Fox since 1995. He graduated from Alma College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and history, and he received his JD and MBA from the University of Detroit, where he was editor of the Law Review.
He and his wife, Mary, are the parents of triplet daughters Libby, Belle and Gracie.
