Scott Gorsline Bio
Scott Gorsline is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Griffins and DP Fox Sports & Entertainment on behalf of their parent company, DP Fox Ventures, LLC.
As chief sports officer of DP Fox and COO of the Griffins, Gorsline negotiated the Griffins’ original affiliation agreement with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002 along with its four extensions in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. Gorsline serves as the team’s alternate governor to the AHL Board of Governors and oversees Griff’s IceHouse at Belknap Park on behalf of DP Fox, in addition to serving on the board of the Griffins Youth Foundation. He was also responsible for the launch of the Grand Rapids Rise for the inaugural season of the Major League Volleyball (MLV) franchise in 2024. He also chairs the MLV board of directors and sits on the executive and expansion committees. Gorsline is also heavily involved in the start-up of AC Grand Rapids, the new soccer franchise in Grand Rapids that will begin play in 2027 in the MLS NEXT Pro league.
In addition to his work in sports, Gorsline also serves as COO of pamella roland, a New York-based design house run by designer/president Pamella DeVos.
Gorsline has been with DP Fox since 1995. He graduated from Alma College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and history, and he received his JD and MBA from the University of Detroit, where he was editor of the Law Review.
He and his wife, Mary, are the parents of triplet daughters Libby, Belle and Gracie.
