"Rock Your Socks" on March 21 for World Down Syndrome Day

Led by Joel L’Esperance and in partnership with the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan, we’re encouraging everyone to participate in “Rock Your Socks” next Thursday, March 21, to help raise awareness and show support for World Down Syndrome Day.

(March 21 is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. Socks were chosen because those chromosomes actually look like mismatched socks.)

All you need to do is pack colorful, mismatched socks for your road trip and then wear them on Thursday during your travel day from Winnipeg to Rockford.
