WINTERTIME FUN WITH THE GRIFFINS!
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Mark your calendar for two of the Grand Rapids Griffins' most popular annual community events!
The Griffins will try to avenge two consecutive losses when they take on the Grand Rapids Sled Wings in another spirited sled hockey game. The Sled Wings, a talented team of physically challenged teenagers, are sponsored by the Griffins Youth Foundation and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
6 p.m. - Try out a sled on the ice ($1 donation), challenge a Griffins player to air hockey or bubble hockey ($3 donation), and enjoy a free autograph session with Griffins players.
7 p.m. - Faceoff
Tickets - $5 at the door (free to children 2 and younger)
All proceeds benefit the Sled Wings and the Griffins Youth Foundation.
