TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - Hockey season unofficially kicked off last Friday, as the Detroit Red Wings held the first day of their main training camp at Centre I.C.E. Arena in Traverse City.

Among the familar Wings veterans were many new faces who could appear in a Griffins sweater this season, such Mark Cullen, Carl Corazzini, Randall Gelech and Mark Hartigan. Along with these new faces, there are several returning Griffins looking to improve on last year's performances.
