GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - As part of a festive Saturday at Van Andel Arena, the Griffins will wear these stylish "throwback" sweaters during their game against Quad City. The jerseys will be autographed and auctioned to fans immediately after the game to benefit the Griffins Youth Foundation.

Other highlights of the Jan. 24 contest include:

• Four-time Stanley Cup champion and current Red Wings forward Darren McCarty will sign autographs for fans from 6-7 p.m., thanks to Aquinas College;
  
• The Red Wings’ own Karen Newman will perform the national anthem;
  
• The first 2,000 fans will receive Griffins rally towels, courtesy of Aquinas College;
  
• Fans can bring their skates and take to the ice for the post-game open skate;
  
• Mattias Ritola, Justin Abdelkader and Darren Haydar will sign autographs after the game from the Griffins bench (players subject to change).
