SWEET DEALS ON SATURDAY

Mayor George Heartwell’s Amaretto Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce, Matt Ellis’ Granny’s Famous Sugar Cookies and Travis Richards’ Banana Cream Pie will be among the two-dozen desserts up for grabs on Saturday during a celebrity bake sale and silent auction on the arena concourse.

The event, presented by Pioneer Sugar and The Sugar Association, is a benefit for Toys for Tots. Proceeds will be used to buy sports gear for Grand Rapids kids.
