CEDAR PARK, Texas – Jordan Owens snagged an overtime goal, giving the Griffins a 4-3 win against the Texas Stars Tuesday night at the Cedar Park Center, wrapping up a season-high six-game road trip for Grand Rapids.

The Griffins (20-19-1-4) completed a four-game Texas swing with the Stars (23-14-3-2), before returning to Van Andel on Friday to take on the Wolves at 7 p.m. in the first of two back-to-back games against Chicago.

Grand Rapids gained a late 2-1 advantage, with the only goal of the frame fired past Richard Bachman by Chris Minard at 15:29. After a slow-moving second period the Stars rally in the third, tallying two consecutive goals to gain a 3-2 lead.
