The Zone's "Super Sale" - March 18-21
The Zone, the official team store of the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rampage, will hold a four-day “Super Sale” at Van Andel Arena, beginning this Friday, March 18.
During this first-of-its-kind event, discounts of up to 80 percent will be available on a variety of Griffins, Rampage and Detroit Red Wings merchandise, from jerseys and T-shirts to hats and souvenirs.
The Super Sale will be held in the arena banquet room throughout the weekend, with the general public invited from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19. The complete schedule for the sale is as follows:
Fri., March 18 - 5-10 p.m. - Restricted to ticket holders for Griffins/Edmonton game (7:30 p.m.)
Sat., March 19 - 10 a.m.-4 p.m. - Open to general public
Sun., March 20 - 3-7 p.m. - Restricted to ticket holders for Griffins/Edmonton game (4 p.m.)
Mon., March 21 - 6:30-8:30 p.m. - Restricted to attendees of Griffins season ticket holder party

The Griffins and "Inside the AHL" on Comcast Local (dates vary)
You want hockey? Then tune in to Comcast Local - channel 23 in Grand Rapids - to catch the three remaining Griffins games on this season's broadcast schedule.
This Saturday's game at Chicago will be televised live across Michigan at 8 p.m., with Wolves broadcasters Judd Sirott and Billy Gardner calling the action. The final two telecasts - March 29 vs. Cleveland (7 p.m.) and April 12 at Milwaukee (8 p.m.) - will feature the play-by-play of the Griffins' own Bob Kaser.
In addition, remember to watch "Inside the AHL" every Friday at 5 p.m. on Comcast Local.
Griffins Season Ticket Holder Party - March 21
This exclusive event, a thank you from the Griffins to their season ticket holders, features a very important guest this year - the Stanley Cup! The Cup will be on display in the arena banquet room for the duration of the two-hour party (6:30-8:30 p.m.), so be sure to bring your camera.
The first 500 people through the turnstiles will receive a special gift, and "Sons of Beaches," a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, will play throughout the night. Bring your skates and take a spin on the ice, get autographs from all the Griffins players and tour the team's locker room!
As a reminder, tickets to the season ticket holder party are included in your ticket books.
2005 March of Dimes West Michigan Sports Awards - May 16
Goaltender Joey MacDonald will be honored as the Griffins Player of the Year during this annual gala at Frederik Meijer Gardens.
Jim Brandstatter, the voice of University of Michigan football, will be the guest speaker during this event, which honors the area's best professional, collegiate, high school and amateur athletes and coaches.
Corporate tables and sponsorships, as well as $50 individual tickets, are available by calling the March of Dimes at (616) 247-6861 ext. 29.
2005 Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Hockey Camp - Aug. 8-12 and 15-19
The Griffins will conduct their annual youth hockey camp, which helps young players maximize their skills through on-ice instruction, dry-land training and film/off-ice instruction.
Griffins head coach Greg Ireland and former Griffins/Washington Capitals defenseman Joel Kwiatkowski will provide expert instruction alongside various other players at Griff's IceHouse at Belknap Park.

The Griffins Youth Foundation’s 11th Annual Golf Classic is set for Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Railside Golf Club in Byron Center.
This event serves as the primary fundraiser for the Griffins Youth Foundation, whose mission is to expand the opportunities for underprivileged children to participate in ice skating and related sports activities, and to encourage academic excellence, community involvement and healthy lifestyles among the youth of West Michigan.
