RUFENACH RETURNS TO TOLEDO
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday assigned defenseman Bryan Rufenach to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.
Rufenach, 22, skated in three games with Grand Rapids after being recalled on Nov. 21. The Barrie, Ontario, native recorded an assist in his AHL debut versus Hamilton on Nov. 23. He returns to the Walleye, where he sits second among ECHL defenseman with seven goals while tying for eighth with 11 points.
The Griffins are preparing for a pair of home games this weekend, as they welcome Toronto on Friday and Chicago on Saturday. Both games will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at griffinshockey.com.
