>A fall tradition returns to the Centre ICE arena in Traverse City later this month, as the Detroit Red Wings will host their annual prospect tournament. Soon-to-be stars of the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning and the St. Louis Blues will provide the opposition, as fans can get a look at the talent possessed by Hockeytown’s future heroes.

> Among the more familiar faces expected to participate for the Red Wings are Niklas Kronwall, Jiri Hudler, Eric Himelfarb and Brett Lebda, along with potential Griffins Todd Jackson, Drew MacIntyre and Derek Meech.
