RED & WHITE GAME CANCELLED
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Due to complexities of the Detroit Red Wings preseason schedule and arena scheduling conflicts, the Griffins on Wednesday announced that the 2005 Red & White Game at Van Andel Arena will not occur.
Certainly, we regret that circumstances beyond our control have resulted in the games cancellation, said Bob Sack, the Griffins senior vice president of sales and marketing. The annual event is a wonderful fundraiser for the Griffins Youth Foundation and a terrific enjoyment for our fans, and we are hopeful to host it in future years.
Griffins season ticket holders whose package included a ticket to the Red & White Game will receive a letter next week detailing exchange and refund options.
