PEARCE REASSIGNED TO TOLEDO
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday reassigned goaltender Jordan Pearce to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye from the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Pearce, 25, has appeared in 17 games for the Griffins, posting a 3-7-1 record with a 3.53 goals against average, a 0.874 save percentage and one shutout. The Anchorage, Alaska, native ranks among the team’s all-time goaltending leaders with 67 games played (9th), 3546:28 minutes (9th), 24 wins (10th) and 1,629 saves (8th).
The 25-year-old netminder has also appeared in 45 games with the Walleye from 2009-11, owning an 18-22-1 record, a 3.72 GAA and three shutouts.
Grand Rapids will host Hamilton on Wednesday at 7 p.m., before playing back-to-back games against Lake Erie on Friday at 7 p.m. and Toronto on Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at griffinshockey.com.
