GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday reassigned forward Andrej Nestrasil (ahn-DRAY NEHS-tra-shihl) to the Grand Rapids Griffins from the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.
Nestrasil, 20, spent the 2010-11 season with Prince Edward Island of the QMJHL, producing 70 points (19-51—70) in 58 games. Grand Rapids will battle Oklahoma City on Friday and Saturday, both at 8 p.m. EDT, before it closes the trip with a Sunday contest in Houston at 6:05 p.m EDT.
