LIV AND KOLANOS REASSIGNED
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday reassigned two players from the Grand Rapids Griffins to other teams, sending goaltender Stefan Liv to the ECHL’s Toledo Storm and center Krys Kolanos to the Langnau Tigers of Switzerland’s A league.
Liv has played seven games for the Griffins during his first season in North America, posting a 1-5-1 record with a 3.66 goals against average and a 0.878 save percentage. He’ll be available to play for the Storm on Friday when they visit the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m.
Kolanos appeared in 17 contests in his Grand Rapids debut, scoring six goals and 12 points.
