LEAVING LAS VEGAS
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday recalled forward Francis Lemieux from the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers.
Lemieux, 25, makes his first return to the Griffins after being loaned to Las Vegas on Nov. 9. Since joining the Wranglers, he has tallied 10 points (7-3—10) and 31 penalty minutes in 12 games to rank among team leaders in goals (T2nd) and points (T7th). Prior to being loaned, the Sherbrooke, Quebec, native had one assist and 10 PIM in five games with Grand Rapids.
Lemieux will be available to play on Friday night, when the Griffins visit the San Antonio Rampage at 8 p.m. EST.
