
GROULX LOANED TO MANITOBA
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced that the Detroit Red Wings have loaned defenseman Danny Groulx to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
Groulx, 23, has appeared in 53 games with the Griffins this season, totaling 12 points (1-1112) and 90 penalty minutes.
Signed as a free agent by Detroit on Aug. 12, 2002, Groulx has spent his entire three-year professional career with Grand Rapids, compiling 43 points (12-3143) and 235 PIM in 203 games.
