GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday announced the hiring of Steve Horstmann as ticket operations manager.

Horstmann, 24, spent the last two years serving as a group sales coordinator for the Great Lakes Loons, the Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He managed sales and service for all group hospitality venues at Dow Diamond and assisted in box office operations.

A native of Cassopolis, Mich., Horstmann earned two degrees from Central Michigan University: a master of arts in sport administration in 2015 and a bachelor of applied arts in sport management in 2013.
