GRIFFINS TRADE ESTOCLET TO HEAT
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday traded center Adam Estoclet to the Abbotsford Heat.
Estoclet was signed by the Griffins in September and appeared in 12 games with the team, recording one goal, one assist and four penalty minutes. The Naperville, Illinois, native also skated in 26 games with the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye, tallying 23 points (7-16—23), a plus-nine rating and 10 penalty minutes. The 22-year-old is in his first professional season after a four-year career at Dartmouth College.
The Griffins are in the middle of a season-high five game homestand. They will play three home games in three nights this weekend for just the eighth time in franchise history, with games against Houston tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m. and against San Antonio at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
