GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The second-seeded Grand Rapids Griffins will begin their quest for a third Calder Cup championship by facing the third-seeded Rockford IceHogs in the best-of-five Central Division Semifinals, with Game 1 Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT at the BMO Center.

The Griffins’ second-place finish in their division is the highest since the 2017-18 season, when they completed a six-season run during which they won two division titles (2012-13 and 2014-15), finished second on three occasions (2013-14, 2016-17 and 2017-18), and claimed both of their Calder Cups (2013 and 2017).
