GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday announced the hiring of Beth Decker as an accounting assistant.

With 20 years of accounting and administrative experience, Decker joins the Griffins after spending nine years at MLive Media Group working in accounting, finance and credit. During her time at MLive, she was recognized for reducing the accounts receivable debt by 80 percent over a five-month period. Prior to MLive, Decker spent 10 years as a material analyst at Steelcase.

A Clarksville, Mich., native, Decker graduated from Davenport University in 2005, earning an accounting degree.
