GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Thursday announced the hiring of Valisa Maki as a group ticket sales account executive.

Maki, a Muskegon, Mich., native, spent the last year as a credit manager for Wells Fargo in Chicago. A December 2007 graduate of Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business with a sales and business marketing degree, she will be responsible for selling and maintaining group ticket accounts.
