GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Former Griffins defenseman Mark Eaton is among 39 players that have been invited by USA Hockey to its Olympic orientation camp for the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy.

The orientation camp will be held Sept. 5-8 in Colorado Springs. Others of local interest invited to the camp include Kentwood native Mike Knuble (Philadelphia Flyers) and former Michigan State Spartans Ryan Miller (Buffalo Sabres/Rochester Americans) and John-Michael Liles (Colorado Avalanche).
