FLY LIKE AN EAGLE
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The American Hockey League on Tuesday announced that the Grand Rapids Griffins’ road game against the Philadelphia Phantoms, originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 7 at 5:05 p.m., has been moved to Monday, Jan. 8 at 7:05 p.m.
The change was necessitated due to Sunday’s 4:30 p.m. NFL playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field, which is adjacent to the Phantoms’ home arena, the Wachovia Spectrum.
Monday’s contest in Philadelphia will conclude a three-game East Coast swing for the Griffins, who will visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday at 7:05 p.m. and the Albany River Rats on Saturday at 7 p.m.
