DEC. 11 GAME TIME CHANGED
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Monday announced a change to the start time of their game on Saturday, Dec. 11 against the Chicago Wolves at Van Andel Arena.
In order to accommodate commencement ceremonies of Grand Valley State University earlier that day, faceoff for the Griffins game has been pushed back 30 minutes, from 7:30 to 8 p.m. EST.
The Griffins game will be preceded at 5 p.m. by a high school hockey contest between Kenowa Hills and South Christian. Admission is free with a ticket to that nights Griffins game.
NASCAR rookie sensation Kasey Kahne will make a special appearance at Van Andel Arena that night, signing autographs for fans prior to the Griffins game.
