CRONIN JOINS FRONT OFFICE STAFF
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced the hiring of Phil Cronin as director of game operations.
A native of Lapeer, Mich., Cronin joins the Griffins’ staff after spending two and a half seasons as the director of game day operations for the Ontario Hockey League’s Saginaw Spirit. Prior to his full-time position with the Spirit, Cronin held a hockey operations internship with the team. In his new role, he will be responsible for coordinating the season’s promotional and giveaway schedule as well as directing game presentations.
A 2010 graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in sports management, Cronin now resides in Comstock Park.
