CLEAR DAY ROSTER ANNOUNCED
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Thursday released their 2009-10 Clear Day roster.
According to AHL by-laws, only those 22 players listed on a team’s Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remainder of the AHL regular season and in the 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.
The Griffins’ Clear Day roster consists of goaltenders Daniel Larsson and Thomas McCollum; defensemen Paul Crosty, Doug Janik, Jakub Kindl, Sergei Kolosov, Logan Pyett and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen; and forwards Justin Abdelkader, Riley Armstrong, Cory Emmerton, Darren Helm, Brad May, Jan Mursak, Jordan Owens, Francis Pare, Patrick Rissmiller, Mattias Ritola, Jamie Tardif, Tomas Tatar, John Vigilante and Jeremy Williams. In addition, defenseman Travis Ehrhardt and forward Ryan Oulahen are currently in residence.
