BOUCHARD BACK WITH GRIFFINS
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Thursday signed right wing Robin Bouchard to a professional tryout.
Bouchard, 31, earned an assist in his AHL debut last Friday Grand Rapids 5-2 loss to Utah before returning to the Muskegon Fury to play during the AHL all-star break.
The United Hockey Leagues 2003-04 scoring champion, Bouchard once again ranks among that circuits leaders with 72 points (2nd), 31 goals (T2nd) and 15 power play goals (1st). He is expected to be in the lineup tomorrow when the Griffins host the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:30 p.m.
