Forward Wojciech Stachowiak skated in his first season with the Griffins after he was acquired on March 12 by the Detroit Red Wings along with forward Michael Milne in a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for defenseman Ian Mitchell. In his first AHL season, Stachowiak showed 15 points (4-11—15), four penalty minutes and a plus-15 rating in 10 regular-season games with the Griffins. In addition, the 26-year-old logged 17 points (9-8—17), 28 penalty minutes and a minus-six rating in 38 outings with the Syracuse Crunch. He made his Calder Cup Playoff debut with Grand Rapids on May 2 at the Manitoba Moose and finished the postseason with three assists in eight appearances.

Stachowiak also competed for Team Germany at the 2026 Winter Olympics and totaled one assist in two outings before suffering an injury that kept him sidelined for the remainder of the tournament.
