Forward Carter Mazur skated in his third full season with the Griffins, showing 16 points (11-5—16), 14 penalty minutes and a plus-four rating in 16 regular-season games. The Jackson, Michigan, native also logged six points (5-1—6) in eight postseason contests, ranking first on the team in goals and tying for third in points. Mazur was sidelined for 48 straight games from Oct. 28-Feb. 28 due to rehabbing a lower-body injury.
The 24-year-old also appeared in a career-high eight NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings and showed a minus-three rating. Mazur competed with the Red Wings from March 28 through the end of the NHL regular season.
