Defenseman Antti Tuomisto skated in his third season with the Griffins and totaled 29 points (8-21—29), 34 penalty minutes and a plus-30 rating in 68 regular-season games, adding one assist, eight penalty minutes and a plus-three rating in eight postseason appearances. The 25-year-old notched career-high numbers in games played (68), goals (8), points (29) and plus-minus rating (+30). Tuomisto ranked among the team’s defensemen leaders in points (2nd), goals (1st), assists (2nd), plus-minus (2nd) and penalty minutes (3rd). He also placed among the AHL defensemen leaders in plus-minus (5th, T7th among all skaters) and game-winners (2, T14th).
