2024-25 Player in Review: Nikolai Knyzhov

Defenseman Nikolai Knyzhov joined the Griffins on March 11 via a trade with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and made 12 appearances for Grand Rapids with two penalty minutes and a minus-five rating. With the Penguins, the 27-year-old showed six points (2-4—6), 19 penalty minutes and a plus-six rating in 14 games. Knyzhov also spent six games with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones and logged one assist, two penalty minutes and a minus-six rating.
