Defenseman William Wallinder skated in his first full season with the Griffins and logged 15 points (3-12—15), a minus-four rating and 10 penalty minutes in 65 games. He then went on to post three points (1-2—3) in nine postseason outings, making his Calder Cup Playoffs debut on April 27 at the Rockford IceHogs. His three points in the playoffs tied for second among the team’s defensemen, as he was the lone blueliner to record a goal.

20 – Scored his first goal in the AHL in his fourth game on Oct. 20 at the Colorado Eagles.   

50 – He collected his 50th professional assist during his 200th game as a pro on Nov. 17 at the Texas Stars. 

4 – Secured his first assist in the AHL on Nov. 4 at the Milwaukee Admirals.   

250 – Skated in his 250th game as a professional on April 13 at the Chicago Wolves.    

27 – Made his Calder Cup Playoffs debut on April 27 at the Rockford IceHogs and finished the postseason with three points (1-2—3) in nine outings.  

2 – Missed two straight contests from March 8-9 due to rehabbing an injury.

22 – Bagged his first two-point night in North America during Game 3 of the Central Division Finals on May 22 against the Milwaukee Admirals (1-1—2).     

3 – Enjoyed a career-high three-game assist streak from Feb. 13-17 (0-3—3), which also set his new career best for longest point streak.     

3 – His three goals this season came on Oct. 20 at the Colorado Eagles, Dec. 19 at the Texas Stars and on Jan. 27 against the Belleville Senators.    

2 – Finished with a season-best plus-two rating on Nov. 24 against the Manitoba Moose and on Dec. 27 at the Rockford IceHogs.    

3 – Notched a season-high five shots on March 4 at the Cleveland Monsters, finishing with one assist in the contest.  

5 – He had his best stretch of games this year from Jan. 27-Feb. 17 when he totaled five points (1-4—5) in seven appearances.
