Left wing Elmer Soderblom skated in his second season with the Griffins and posted career-high numbers in games played (61), goals (13), assists (16), points (29), power-play goals (3) and game-winners (3). He then went on to log two points (1-1—2) in seven postseason outings, making his Calder Cup Playoffs debut on May 3 against the Rockford IceHogs.

By the Numbers 

150 – Skated in his 150th game as a professional on Oct. 14 against the Colorado Eagles.  

1 – Posted career-high numbers in games played (61), goals (13), assists (16), points (29), power-play goals (3) and game-winners (3).

200 – Recorded an assist in his 200th game as a professional on March 16 against the Iowa Wild.  

50 – Bagged his 50th pro goal on March 19 at the Manitoba Moose.   

3 – Made his Calder Cup Playoffs debut on May 3 against the Rockford IceHogs, scoring a goal in the process. He finished the postseason with two points (1-1—2) in seven appearances. 

7 – Missed seven games throughout the regular season due to an illness, which included six of the last nine contests of the campaign. 

3 – Scored a career-best three power-play goals throughout the season on Dec. 2 at the Milwaukee Admirals, Jan. 19 at the Manitoba Moose and on March 19 at Manitoba.

114 – Registered 114 shots in 61 contests this season, which marked a new career high, beating out the previous 39 shots in 20 games in 2022-23.    

3 – Amassed a career-high three game-winners this season on Jan. 27 against the Belleville Senators, Feb. 24 against the Texas Stars and on March 20 at the Manitoba Moose.   

1 – Scored his lone shootout goal of the year on Nov. 1 at the Cleveland Monsters. He is now 3-for-6 in career shootout attempts with the Griffins.   

3 – Enjoyed a career-high three-game assist streak from Dec. 20-29 (1-3—4). 

2 – Potted two points on four occasions throughout the campaign on Dec. 1 versus the Milwaukee Admirals (0-2—2), Dec. 27 at the Rockford IceHogs (1-1—2), Jan. 19 at the Manitoba Moose (1-1—2) and on April 14 at the Chicago Wolves (1-1—2).   

2 – His two assists on Dec. 1 against the Milwaukee Admirals set a new career high for the 6-foot-8 forward.  

6 – Accumulated a season-high six shots on Dec. 2 at the Milwaukee Admirals, scoring one goal. 

2 – Scored a goal in two straight games from March 19-20 at the Manitoba Moose. 

3 – Enjoyed three, three-game point streaks from Nov. 1-10 (1-2—3), Dec. 20-29 (1-3—4) and from March 16-20.
