2023-24 Player in Review: Dominik Shine
Right wing Dominik Shine skated in his eighth season with the Griffins and totaled 10 goals in 65 regular-season games to go along with career-high marks in assists (23), points (33) and plus-minus rating (+8). He then logged career-high numbers in games played (9), goals (2), assists (3), points (5) and penalty minutes (8) during the Calder Cup Playoffs, reaching the Central Division Finals.
Shine became just the third player in franchise history to reach eight seasons of service and on Nov. 10 against Toronto, he passed Mitch Callahan for third place on the team’s all-time games played list. Entering the 2024-25 campaign, Shine ranks third in team history with 422 regular-season games played and eighth with 477 career penalty minutes.
