2023-24 Player in Review: Alex Doucet
Left wing Alex Doucet skated in his first season with the Griffins, making six appearances with two penalty minutes and a minus-two rating. He made his AHL debut on Dec. 10 at the Toronto Marlies.
Doucet spent much of the season in the ECHL with the Toledo Walleye, logging 41 points (19-22—41), 18 penalty minutes and a plus-19 rating in 52 regular-season games. He made his pro debut on Oct. 21 at Kalamazoo, scoring a goal in the process. Doucet then added six points (1-5—6) and two penalty minutes in 14 playoff outings en route to a Western Conference Finals berth, making his Kelly Cup Playoffs debut on April 19 against Kalamazoo. During the regular season with Toledo, he placed among the team leaders in goals (7th), assists (9th) and points (9th).
