1 – Ford notched the Griffins’ first goal of the season, and first under head coach Ben Simon, while on a 5-on-3 power play during the team’s 3-1 loss at Texas on Oct. 5.

2 – The 6-foot-1, 205-pound winger scored a season-high two points on four occasions: two assists vs. Hershey on Oct. 12, two assists at Belleville on Oct. 27, two assists vs. Milwaukee on Dec. 15, one goal and one assist at Milwaukee on March 9.

3 – 2018-19 marked Ford’s third season in Grand Rapids and his second as the team’s captain. Since 2016-17, he has amassed 97 points (47-50—97) and 119 PIM in 184 games with the Griffins.

5 – Ford missed the final five games of the regular season and all five in the Calder Cup Playoffs due to injury.

10 – Ford’s goal at 17:45 of the first period on March 15 vs. Rockford was his 10th of the campaign, marking the sixth consecutive season in which he has achieved a double-digit goal total.

200 – When Ford assisted on rookie Givani Smith’s first AHL goal at the 3:45 mark of the second period on Dec. 7 at Rockford, it was his 200th career AHL assist. 2018-19 was Ford’s 11th pro season.

400 – Ford’s game-winning goal in a 4-0 victory at Milwaukee on March 9 was his 400th AHL point.

650 – Ford recorded two shots in a 4-1 home win against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 9, his 650th career AHL contest.
