2018-19 in Review: Dominik Shine
In his second full pro season, right wing and Michigan native Dominik Shine posted 11 points (6-5—11) and 53 PIM in 72 games with the Griffins.

Contract status
By the numbers
1 – Skating in his sixth Calder Cup Playoff game, Shine logged his first postseason goal during Game 1 of the Central Division Semifinals at Chicago on April 19. He also fired a team-high five shots in the 5-1 victory.
2 – Shine recorded two game-winning goals on the season and both came at Texas in the third period. His first came at 2:47 of the final frame on Jan. 31 in a 5-3 victory and his second was posted with 4:07 to play in a 3-2 triumph on March 23.
2 – As the Griffins racked up a season-high eight goals in an 8-4 win at Cleveland on Nov. 4, Shine tallied his second career two-goal game (April 12, 2018 at San Antonio).
72 – Shine skated in a career high 72 GP during the regular season, which tied Turner Elson and Dominic Turgeon
for the most on the team, and surpassed his previous best of 58 (set in 2017-18). Including the five more he suited up for in the Calder Cup Playoffs, Shine’s 77 GP tied Elson for the most of any Griffin in 2018-19.
100 – Shine played in his 100th career AHL game during a 4-3 shootout win vs. Cleveland on Dec. 29. A Northern Michigan University graduate, Shine made his AHL debut with the Griffins on March 19, 2017 at Milwaukee.
138 – Shine has appeared in 138 regular season games since his debut and totaled 30 points (14-16—30) and 114 PIM.
