In his third pro season, center Dominic Turgeon registered 20 points (6-14—20) in a career-high 72 games with the Griffins and averaged 12:35 of ice time during four games with Detroit.

1 – Turgeon’s lone game-winning goal of the season came at 5:42 of the third period on Dec. 21 at Manitoba to break a 1-1 deadlock in an eventual 4-1 victory.

2 – Skating in his 20th career Calder Cup Playoff contest in Game 1 of the Central Division Semifinals at Chicago, Turgeon produced a postseason career-high two points behind a goal and an assist.

4 – Turgeon made his season debut with the Red Wings on March 31 during the team’s 6-3 win vs. Boston and appeared in a total of four games. Since making his Detroit debut on Jan. 14, 2018 at Chicago, the 2014 third-round pick of the Red Wings has logged nine NHL contests.

7 – The Griffins were involved in 22 games tied after regulation in 2018-19, setting a single-season franchise record. Turgeon was called upon frequently to help resolve these outings as his seven shootout attempts were second on the team and his two shootout goals were third.

41 – Turgeon placed 10th on the Griffins with a career-high 41 PIM. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound center recorded just six PIM as a rookie in 2016-17 and 23 in 2017-18.

72 – Turgeon tied for the team lead (Dominik Shine, Turner Elson) in games played with a career-best 72.

200 – Turgeon finished with a plus-one rating and four shots while skating in his 200th AHL game on March 9 at Milwaukee (4-0 W). In 212 career regular season outings, Turgeon shows 70 points (26-44—70), a plus-21 rating and 70 PIM and helped Grand Rapids win the 2017 Calder Cup.
