Mandi Zemba is in her second season with the Griffins as the team’s massage therapist. A 14-year-veteran of massage therapy, Zemba received her bachelor's degree in fitness and wellness from Grand Valley State University in 2007, and later earned her massage certification and license from Blue Heron Academy in 2010. She has also worked with the Grand Valley State University’s track and field/cross country teams since 2010 and has been at Salus Wellness Spa since 2011.
Zemba competed for the Grand Valley State track and cross country teams from 2001-07, winning eight national championships. She is the most decorated student-athlete in GVSU history with eight national titles and 13 NCAA All-American honors and is part of the GVSU Hall of Fame. She then went on to run professionally for New Balance and represented Team USA twice. Mandi and her husband, Brian, have four children, Zac, Abby, Esther and Sophie.
