> Getting the kids home early on a school night won’t be a big concern for Griffins fans this season, as a record 32 of the team’s 40 home games will occur on a Friday or Saturday evening or a Sunday afternoon.

> Beginning with their season opener versus the Cleveland Barons on Friday, Oct. 15, the Griffins will play a total of 15 games on Friday and another 13 on Saturday, tying for the most home games on either day during their nine-year history. This year’s 32 prime dates crush last season’s total of 26, along with the previous record of 29 established back in 2001-02.

> An unprecedented nine-game home stand from Oct. 26 to Nov. 18 will enable a youthful Griffins team every opportunity to start the season strong. Meanwhile, fans will again enjoy a number of traditional games during the season’s first half, including the fourth annual matinee versus Cincinnati on Tuesday, Nov. 16; post-Thanksgiving feasts against Chicago on Friday, Nov. 26, and Cincinnati on Sunday, Nov. 28; a post-Christmas game versus Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 26; and the team’s eighth New Year’s Eve bash on Friday, Dec. 31 against Hamilton.

> Single-game tickets will go on sale to the public in late September. The Griffins’ complete schedule can be found here.
