2025-26 Player in Review: Justice Christensen
Defenseman Justice Christensen skated in his fourth Western Hockey League season with the Prince Albert Raiders, serving as captain for the second consecutive campaign. The 20-year-old showed 48 points (18-30—48), 84 penalty minutes and a plus-36 rating in 63 regular-season games. He then aided Prince Albert to the WHL Final with 14 points (5-9—14), 22 penalty minutes and a plus-seven rating in 20 playoff games, eventually falling to the Everett Silvertips 4-1.
During the WHL regular season, Christensen ranked among the team’s defensemen leaders in points (2nd), assists (3rd), goals (2nd), penalty minutes (1st) and plus-minus rating (3rd). His 18 goals also tied for eighth among all WHL defensemen. In the postseason, he placed among the WHL defensemen leaders in points (6th), assists (T5th), goals (T4th), penalty minutes (T3rd) and plus-minus rating (T9th).
On April 9, the Grand Rapids Griffins signed Christensen to a two-year AHL contract that will begin in the 2026-27 season.
