Griffins players and coaches visit local restaurants each season to serve food and wait tables, with tips and proceeds benefiting the Griffins Youth Foundation. On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Peppino's will again host the event from 6-8 p.m. at four locations throughout West Michigan: Downtown Grand Rapids, Allendale, Jenison and Kentwood. Over its 15 editions, Tip-A-Griffin has raised more than $120,000 for various local charities.
