Win a NEW Furnace courtesy of Schaafsma Heating and Cooling!

Schaffsma Logo_c.jpg Need a new Furnace? Do you think yours is the oldest one around? If so, you could WIN a Brand New Furnace through the Grand Rapids Griffins and Schaafsma Heating and Cooling! Just read over the rules and regulations, then fill in the survey below and you could win! You can also download the entry form by clicking here and turn it in at the Schaafsma Heating and Cooling display at Griffins games.

The contest will run from now until March 15, 2010, when a winner will be selected and notified. Good luck!

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• The contest is for owner occupied, single family homes with central, ducted heating systems.
• Entrants must be legal adults and legal residents of Michigan.
• Entrants must be homeowners and fully empowered to make purchase and home improvement decisions regarding their residence.
• Homes must be located within the Schaafsma Heating & Cooling service area, defined as: Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, Newaygo, Ionia and Allegan Counties.
• Entries must be received between 8:00am 12/01/09 and 5:00pm 03/07/2010.
• Entries may be turned in to the Schaafsma Heating & Cooling display during Griffin games, completed online at www.schaafsma.com, emailed to oldfurnace@schaafsma.com, or dropped off or mailed to 25 N Park St NW Grand Rapids MI 49544.
• The furnace must be operating and heating the home. The duct system must be in good condition and properly sized for the furnace. The heating & air conditioning system and duct system must be free of mold.
• Representatives from Schaafsma Heating & Cooling must be allowed access to the furnace to examine the installation and record manufacturer nameplate information.
• The winner will be the oldest furnace submitted according to objective information (e.g., the manufacturer’s nameplate date code), installation or sale paperwork provided by the homeowner, or the best judgment of Schaafsma Heating & Cooling employees.
• All decisions are final.
• The winner will be selected on 03/15/2009 and informed prior to media announcements.
• The winner will be posted online at www.schaafsma.com by 03/15/2009.
• The winning entry will receive a Bryant model 359AAV 95% AFUE efficient furnace. The correct BTU size will be determined by a Schaafsma Heating & Cooling employee based upon a manual J load calculation. The furnace will be available for pickup from Schaafsma Heating & Cooling offices after the load calculation is completed. The winning entry may choose Schaafsma Heating & Cooling to install the furnace but is under no obligation to do so.
• If the winning entant has purchased a furnace from Schaafsma Heating & Cooling during the contest period, that person will have their choice of the furnace or $1,500.
• The winning entrant will agree to allow Schaafsma Heating & Cooling to use images and likenesses of the old and new furnace and the homeowners’ name in promotional material.
• The winner will provide Schaafsma Heating & Cooling with 12 months of gas bill information prior to the replacement, 12 months of gas bill information following the installation, and release Schaafsma Heating & Cooling to share this information with the public. Schaafsma Heating & Cooling may charge the winning entry up to $1500 for failure to provide this information.
• Entrants agree to receive newsletters and other information from Schaafsma Heating & Cooling from time to time. Schaafsma Heating & Cooling lists or customer information will not shared with other companies. Entrants can remove themselves from any subscription lists at any time by notifying Schaafsma Heating & Cooling by mail, phone, through the Schaafsma Heating & Cooling website, or by email of their desire to be removed from any lists.
• Entrants agree to hold Schaafsma Heating & Cooling, West Michigan Hockey, Inc., DP Fox Sports & Entertainment, L.L.C. and their respective owners, managers, officers, agents, and employees harmless for any injuries, loss, or damages related to the contest.
• Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless the winning entrant purchased a furnace from Schaafsma Heating & Cooling during the contest period.
• No entry fee or purchase is required.
• Employees of Schaafsma Heating & Cooling, West Michigan Hockey, Inc., DP Fox Sports & Entertainment, L.L.C. and their family members are not eligible.
