First season as a Griffin…Third year pro…Signed to a three-year entry-level contract by Detroit, 5/24/08…Reassigned to Grand Rapids by Detroit from Farjestads (Sweden), 4/15/09…Reassigned to Farjestads by Detroit from Grand Rapids, 4/25/09…Assigned by Detroit, 10/1/09.
2008-09: Spent time with Grand Rapids during the Calder Cup Playoffs but saw no action…Suffered a collarbone injury just two games into the campaign while with Djurgarden of the Swedish Elite League, where he tallied 12 points (5-7—12) and 10 penalty minutes through 18 games before being released by the team…Picked up by Farjestads, he helped lead the club to the SEL championship, registering four points (1-3—4) in nine playoff contests…Finished ninth in scoring on Farjestads during the regular season, with 18 points (6-12—18) in 21 games. 2007-08: Appeared in 47 games during his first SEL season with Djurgarden…Ranked among the team’s leaders with 12 goals (3rd), 13 assists (T5th), 25 points (6th) and 44 PIM (T7th)…Logged five playoff games with Djurgarden, notching one goal and two PIM. 2006-07: Made Djurgarden’s roster but was held off the team due to an existing contract with second-level Huddinge, and the dispute caused him to miss the first two months of the season…Despite playing only 33 games, he posted 31 points (16-15—31) for Huddinge. 2005-06: Tallied 19 points (17-2—19) and 10 PIM through 23 regular season games, before adding 13 points (7-6—13) in 13 playoff contests with Huddinge at Sweden’s third level…His stellar play helped Huddinge qualify to play at Sweden’s second level the following season…As an under-20 player, he racked up 34 points (19-15—34) in 28 contests. 2004-05: Logged 31 games with Huddinge in Sweden’s under-20 league, earning 16 points (12-4—16) and 34 PIM. 2003-04: Earned four points (3-1—4) and 38 PIM in 13 games with Huddinge in Sweden’s under-18 league.
