2008-09: Made his pro debut with Grand Rapids, earning 14 points (3-11—14) and 12 penalty minutes through 61 games…Tallied an assist during his pro debut, 10/11/08 at Lake Erie…Earned two assists in just his third pro game, 10/19/08 at Toronto…Scored first pro goal, 1/7/09 vs. Rockford. 2007-08: Named to the WHL East First All-Star Team and the Canadian Major Junior Second All-Star Team…Captained Regina to the WHL East Division title…Maintained a team-best plus-24 rating and placed among the Pats’ leaders with a career-high 20 goals (2nd), 34 assists (2nd) and 54 points (3rd) in 62 contests…Among league blueliners, he tied for fourth in scoring and finished second in goals…Was a member of Team Canada’s gold medal-winning team at the World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic, tallying an assist and four PIM in seven games…Played for Team WHL at the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge…Attended Team Canada’s training camp for the World Championship, logging two exhibition games. 2006-07: Tallied a career-high 62 points (14-48—62) in 71 games to lead Regina’s blueliners and place fourth among WHL defensemen in scoring…Finished third overall on the Pats in scoring and second with a plus-14 rating…His personal-best 48 assists stood 12th in the league, while his 31 power play assists ranked sixth…Through 10 playoff contests, he ranked among the team’s leaders with three goals (T4th), six assists (2nd) and nine points (3rd). 2005-06: Earned 45 points (10-35—45) in 71 games with Regina, leading Pats defensemen and finishing ninth among WHL blueliners in scoring…Notched seven points (1-6—7) in six playoff contests to tie for the team lead…Won a gold medal with Team Canada at the U18 Junior World Cup in Europe…Led Canada to a fourth-place finish at the World U18 Championship in Sweden as the team’s top-scoring defenseman, tallying four points (1-3—4) and 12 PIM and launching 25 shots in seven games…Participated in the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge. 2004-05: Appeared in 67 contests during his rookie WHL campaign, leading Regina’s defensemen and placing sixth on the team with 24 points (5-19—24). 2003-04: Logged two games in the WHL with the Pats, earning one assist.
