Second season as a Griffin…Second year pro…Signed to a two-year entry-level contract by Detroit, 6/25/08...Assigned by Detroit, 10/3/08…Recalled by Detroit, 5/10/09…Assigned by Detroit, 9/24/09.
 
2008-09: Served as a “black ace” during a portion of the Detroit Red Wings’ playoff run…Tallied 11 points (4-7—11) in 70 games during his first AHL season with Grand Rapids…His four goals ranked third among Griffins defensemen…Notched his first AHL point with an assist, 11/7/08 vs. Lake Erie…Scored his first AHL goal, 1/30/09 vs. Rochester, before netting his first two-goal outing the following night, 1/31/09 vs. Rochester. 2007-08: Appeared in 47 contests with Dynamo Minsk at Belarus’ top level…Tallied 14 points (5-9—14), including a career-high five goals…Under the guidance of current Griffins head coach Curt Fraser, he helped Belarus qualify for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver thanks to a ninth-place finish at the World Championship in Canada…Went scoreless with two PIM in six tournament games. 2006-07: Notched a career-high 10 assists and 11 points (1-10—11) in 51 games during his second junior season with USHL Cedar Rapids. 2005-06: Played his first season in North America with Cedar Rapids, earning 10 points (2-8—10) and 66 PIM through 50 games…Won a gold medal with Belarus at the second level World Junior Championship in Belarus…Notched 29 PIM and led all tournament defensemen in scoring with five points (1-4—5) in as many contests. 2004-05: Despite having been selected by Prince George in the 2004 CHL import draft, he was prevented from playing in the WHL due to politics…Spent majority of the season with Dynamo Minsk, appearing in 37 contests and tallying eight points (2-6—8) before joining Yunost Minsk late in the campaign…Went scoreless through one regular season and nine playoff games with Yunost Minsk…Played for Belarus at the World Junior Championship in Grand Forks, N.D., registering six PIM in six contests. 2003-04: Played a 52 games for Dynamo Minsk, registering seven points (1-6—7) and 36 PIM…Skated for Belarus at the World U18 Championship in Belarus, recording one goal and 24 PIM in six games.
